International Contemporary Art Fair

16 – 19 July 2026
Ouro Preto – Brazil

Phase 2 for Artists Now Open

For the first time in the history of Minas Gerais…

The historic city of Ouro Preto will host the first international contemporary art fair in the history of the state of Minas Gerais.
Set within one of the most culturally significant regions of South America, the fair brings together galleries, artists and collectors in a carefully curated environment designed to favor attention, dialogue and long-term value.

Held at Vila Galé Collection Ouro Preto, the fair will bring together galleries, artists, collectors, and cultural institutions from different parts of the world, in a setting that combines contemporary art with one of the most significant historical heritages in South America.
Art Ouro Preto is founded on a clear proposal: to open a new front for contemporary art outside the traditional centers of the international market, offering a more attentive, qualified, and sensitive experience for both the public and art professionals.
Unlike large established fairs, this first edition has been deliberately conceived with care, focusing on the quality of the artistic experience, the dialogue between works, and the creation of a consistent and sophisticated cultural environment.
The inclusion of the event within the calendar of the traditional Ouro Preto Winter Festival, one of the most important cultural events in South America, naturally enhances its visibility and places the fair at a moment when the city becomes a true hub for artistic and intellectual exchange.
The project is led by Robert Parcus, founder of Parcus Gallery, a European institution with international reach and extensive experience in organizing and participating in art fairs in cities such as Paris, Basel, Zurich, Luxembourg, Cologne, and Frankfurt.
By bringing this experience to Brazil, Art Ouro Preto emerges not merely as an event, but as the beginning of a new international platform dedicated to contemporary art, with a medium- and long-term vision.
More than a fair, Art Ouro Preto represents a strategic cultural positioning initiative, with the objective of contributing to the establishment of Minas Gerais as a new international hub for contemporary art.
The first edition is already set to be a success, and Ouro Preto is preparing to welcome the world.
